Attorney remuneration is governed by Decree No. 655/2004 Coll. of the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic. Depending on the nature of the matter, we apply an hourly rate, a fixed retainer (ideal for regular corporate clients), a tariff-based fee per legal act, or a contingency fee. The specific rate and billing structure are always agreed upon transparently in advance in the legal services agreement.

We always adhere to the principle that the most expedient and cost-effective solution for our client is a well-negotiated out-of-court settlement. We conduct negotiations with opposing parties, draft settlement agreements, payment schedules, and mediation documentation. However, if the opposing party is uncooperative, we promptly initiate court litigation or enforcement proceedings.
The statutory duty of professional secrecy regarding all matters learned in the course of providing legal services is a fundamental cornerstone of the Slovak Bar Act. This confidentiality obligation is indefinite in duration and extends to all information and documents entrusted to our firm.
Although our law office is located at Hurbanovo námestie in the center of Bratislava, we provide legal services to clients throughout the entire Slovak Republic as well as abroad.
